My Squeezebox Radio has just developed a problem which is driving me
mad.
Whatever album/playlist/artist I select to play, the SBR starts playing
1st track, then after 45s-1min the track restarts from beginning. If I
skip to next track, the same thing happens on next song. Same thing
happens with

If you ring Strikalite, and order Product ID 752, you can ask them to
solder wires on before despatch. Very helpful bunch!

It is most likely that the batteries are back in stock and available
for shipping, so they
Hi Sandy,
For the price it is worth ordering the "kit" from the USA, you get the
instructions, 2 connectors and the thermistor. It didn't take long to
arrive. I soldered the connectors on after crimping.

Ive spent some time observing the behavior of the Radio over the last
several days. The alarm function seems to have stabilized a bit. To
keep it as uncomplicated as possible, Ill focus on the radio turning
on and off by itself in this post.
Hello all. As of yesterday, I'm the optimistic owner of a Squeezebox
Radio. I have a couple of weeks to decide whether I love it, or it
goes *back to the store*. I couldn't help noticing two glaring flaws
staring me in the face:

My guess is that this is actually a bug on MSB since I haven't seen a
report of the "I think I will turn off" with SBS. For some mysterious
reason MySB is
See my post in "My 7.5.1 experience so far. " which I posted less

Two weeks ago, tech support told me they thought perhaps it was a
hardware issue. They swapped my radio for a new radio - same exact
problem. Now they are investigating again

The Radio's software was crappy as it came out in October 2009 and close
to nothing changed since then. Indeed some things even became worse.
Don't expect basic features to work. Logitech is either not willing or
able to fix this mess for more than 8 months now, so it would be kinda
surprising if
Ah yes, I noticed 'your post'

shortly after posting mine.
I'm mostly wondering whether the *off-darnit-I-said-OFF* behavior is
unique to just my box (in which case it goes back to the store), or
it's part of a widespread dementia th

There are just so many open posts there related to this or similar
issues.
I'm thinking about logging my post, as is, to the trail on bug 16170.

I looked through the bug-base but haven't found any mention of the
*won't-stay-off* problem, just the *won't-stay-on* counterpart.
Something tells me they're all related somehow...
I really want to like this thing enough to keep it.

Ugh, towards the end of the comments it becomes This Problem, but it
sure doesn't start out that way.

I posted in both bugs. I think it is a bit of each of them.
