Rivendell photo reduced the mechanical advantage far too much. Some

As for the carry strap vs. carry tube, I reckon a very non-trivial cost
savings: with lugs, mitering, and brazing... Plus one for the the weight

via Amtrak shortly after 9pm the same day. I have ridden many long and

all the usual provisions for a rear derailleur (DT shifter boss, chainstay
cable mount).
IMO, people buy IGHs for all the wrong reasons - i.e. the mythical
no-maintenance drivetrain that tends to appeal to non-mechanical

Yeah, that sidewall looks pretty thin. Oddly enough, on the photo
with the white paper back, the inside of the rim looks thin, not just

The loop from Davis over Cantelowe Rd. and back was my favorite ride
back when I lived there (1976 - 1991). I prefer the ride going
westbound over Cantelow road, both because the climb is more
entertaining (it stair-steps up, rather than doing the bulk of the
climbing in one steepish shot), and

My '95 is that color, Sherwood Forest Green, but without the
contrasting head tube. There was also a Coleman green on the menu,
which was non-metallic.
