Barley is great. But, how high is your saddle relative to your rear tire? The Barley was my choice because I ride very small frames and, still, the Barley drooped over my fender. An uplift might help but I have not tried it. I once owned the SQR uplift. However, with a low saddle also comes li

I'll say it too. In fact, I'm wondering if there is really any practical benefit from going (as I loudly announced) from a 3X7 to a 2X9. Question: the 19 t cog works fine with the 46 but it skips with the 36. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be? I suppose the easiest remedy is simply to r

My bags are the Acorn Rando bag (front) and the Barley (rear). I use the Bagman support, because my seatpost has a kickback, and it was bugging me that it was hitting my legs. Plus tiny person, tiny bike - the bag is better up on the support. I have so far not needed any more luggage space, and

Oh, doing it without a diving board would avoid any interference with my fender mount. I could use one of Sheldon's fender nuts, probably, to minimize the interference. But generally I would prefer being able to put the rack on and take it off without any effect on my fender mount at all. And I

The steel flat part in the middle of a Marks Rack through which you run the brake pivot bolt. One of the truly superior parts of the Nitto Mini Front is that it has no diving board, but it's not as versatile as the Marks. On Wednesday, April 18, 2012 4:39:47 PM UTC-7, René wrote: > > What is
