A 'man mount' will give you the particulars on options for mounting

I have had numerous issues with the 8139too and Linux machines. I know
others have them working just fine, but then are a constant headache for me.
So I switched to INTEL or 3COM nic cards and don't have any issues there.

Win 2000. There was a small learning curve with YasT, but knowing about
more than one distro isn't such a bad idea anyway.

I have not used Trend on Linux boxes,. I used their windows products, but I
quit using them about two years ago. I had their products on all of my
office machines. But I could never get any tech support when I needed it.
So I quit buying their products.

oper' glibc RPM to the remote stystem and
then fix it in that manner. You could make a "test" install of some

When I right click on a word not in the dictionary in oowrite, memory
usage for soffice.bin goes from about 48MB to 210MB. I'm wondering if
anybody else is having this problem, could this be a bug?

I like that idea, I've lost couple of file by accident before.
A follow up question though, is there a way to do that with enforcing
options like 'rm -i', this way it first asks if you want to delete them
and then copies the file to /tmp if you answer yes

all of my Linux VPNs, firewalls etc.
Staying true to Redhat I thought I'd look into their embedded OS--as it

machines (actually the WalMart $200 Lindows machines) serving about 200
users. My initial idea is to setup a redhat server for the home directories
and use NIS for login authentication. Up until now, I have only set

I installed redhat 8.0 in december and since then have had no sound. I
have, however, had the following error messages:

I had a similar situation. The system clock was off by 1 hour. I would
reset the system clock and it would switch back to be 1 hour behind. The
problem was that the hardware clock and system clock were not synchronized.

Is there an equivalent in Redhat to the windows ipconfig renew command? I
am having some trouble with my cable modem and tech support wants me to
renew the connection and have the interface ask for a new IP address, and
the only way I know for sure is to reboot. The up/down commands for
ifconfi
You have probably already done this, but just in case, make sure to type
xhost +
on the local machine you want netscape to show up on to allow the incoming
X connection.
Make sure the window you are typing this in is the system you are sitting
at, not the remote system.

As an alternative, you might run 'xvidtune' on the remote system,
and try to make the remote display smaller. In KDE, do:
