I am sorry, I am in the US and a site visit is probably not an option, but I
did want to pass on my thoughts on Servers Alive to you.
I have been running SA for almost 10 years in my various roles with different
companies. It’s the first thing I do when I go into a new environ

for SA, LogParser comes with a DLL you can link to and call directly from your

The "Create Tables" button in SA 6.1 creates a table called "sadataprod", but

A new status for checks:
DISABLED.
Here is what I am thinking: DISABLED acts like
MAINTENANCE in that checks are skipped each cycle.
BUT - DISABLED checks are also skippe
Dirk - based on this - here's an idea for a new feature in
SA:
Allow user to create a new check and use "[*]" as the
"Server name or IPX address".
Then, upon SAVE, SA would pop up a list of all the
"Server name or IPX addresses" it has already in the file and allow you to check
one or mo
We do a variety of checks that look at hardware,
environment and business processes.
Examples beyond the normal disk space/ping/ checks
include:
Number and/or age of unprocessed files in a "pick-up"
directory for batch processes.
Undeliverable messages from an SMTP server
Busy/failure r
Don't forget numbers. (0-9)

We had a really weird thing happen here. We were running SA 4.1 and
wanted to install the updated ODBC COM utility you revised for us (THANK
YOU!)
We went to Control Panel, ADD/REMOVE programs and tried to uninstall The
COMODBC utility.
It uninstalled fine, but it also uninstalled SA!
