If only using pure silver and pure water, shelf life is virtually
infinite, even when sitting in direct sunlight for years.
It's best to not freeze it or exceed 120 deg Fstore at room temp.

I just read on that one german site for generators, that cs does not have a
long shelf life, and then it should be used up as soon as possible, and that
you should always make it fresh... This might not be a creditable statement
on their part, as I've read no such thing anywhere, except of

Making CS with ordinary water wwill give a produce with a life of a few days
to 2 weeks maybe.
Hope that helps.

Bill said,
What is the life of colloidal silver if stored in a
dark bottle at room temperature.
If what you are making is silver particles suspended
(floating around) in water (erroneously called
*Colloidal* silver), the shelf life will be subject to
outside influences like sunlight, magnetism,
how long can one keep CS for???is it okay after 3 years?

It really depends on the stability. I have seen some EIS settle out at
least somewhat after a couple of months, and have seen other stay fully
in colloidal and dissolved form for years. I believe that generally the
more clear and less color it has, the less likely it is to precipitate
out. But
Throw it away.

Hi Linda,
Tyndall is not a good thing!!! What you see with Tyndall is pasrticles. So all
of the particles have settled to the bottom and whast you have left is pure
ionic silver solution, which is GREAT STUFF!!!
Don't shake it. Let the junk settle and carefully pour off the good stuff!!!

Morning Marshall,
Throw it away.
I too have wondered about the shelf life. Typically, I use each batch
I make within 30 days.
A few years ago, I gave a bottle to a friend. He solved some skin problem
he had for years, and have seen a number of doctors including dermatologist.

On-Topic questions.
1. What is the shelf life of CS since it's fatal to bacteria?
2. Does the CS eventually settle out?
3. I have some Hydrogen Peroxide bottles. Can I use those or do I want
to
use blue/brown glass and air tight seals?
Thanks from the newbie

If the CS is made right it will not settle
Depends on particle size, ph and temperature. If the ph is neutral or
basic, the temperature not too high for the ppm, and the particle size not
too big, it will. If particles are larger, ie gold (beyond light yellow),
orange, red, brown or black or other factors cause aggregation they you will
