We are experiencing intermittent issues on our fax machines connected to a
Patton SN4424. Outbound seems to work reliably, however, we have issues
with incoming calls. The call get answers, and then seems to disconnect
before the fax can finish.

due to a setting on openfire which couldn't let me register, I have removed
xmpp.fqdn which comes with default install of sipxecs and now it's working, so
on openfire there is only xmpp.domain.
