overwrite the
existing route using:
PPP ON awfulhak> add! default HISADDR
I guess you can also cleanup the routing table in the ppp.linkdown, this
should work aswell.

With the message you get, usually it's because pppoa2 doesn't stay in
background. It must exit for some reasons. The best would be configure
your syslogd to log pppoa2. So that you can see exactly what's going
on.
You should also remove the LQR stuff from the ppp.conf. It can create
some problems.

It only works with FreeBSD Current using the new lib KSE as a thread

Cause if it's working I'll commit the changes in the CVS (both pppoa3

that pppoa2 that you put in the ppp.conf isn't in the path. You you HAVE

When such a thing happen, to restart the connection without restarting
the computer, you can try (not tested) to : killall modem_run, then
modem_run ... then ppp. Or killall modem_run, unplug/plug the modem,
then start the connection as y

In fact we could read it in pppoa instead of modem_run. We had a long

That's it. There are also the files ppp.linkup and ppp.linkdown
You should try to launch pppoa2 adding the option : -d /dev/ugen0
You'll skip modem search with that, so maybe it could improve things.
