Do you use Spotty?
That's been known to alter player volume settings.

Cheers Paul, any ideas why it uses the quotes in this case though?
There's no quotes on my pCP network mount.

Yes, I agree, it doesn't look right, but addressing that was my next
step if the vers case issue didn't fix the issues.

If you want to find the IP address of your headless Mac Mini, download
and install LanScan from the App Store on your Mac laptop.
It's free and allows you to scan your local network for all devices, you
should find your Mac Mini listed after a scan.

You can confirm that port is still configured on your LMS setup by going

This is where the CLI

Good work, well done.
Was going to move onto your QNAP Virtual switch setup next - although I
find their implementation of it confusing at times.

Interesting,
I've only ever installed QLogitechMediaServer V1.7.1 on my TS-451+ so
another possibility is if an earlier version of QLogitechMediaServer
enabled root user, but then I would have thought digimaster would know
about that.

plenty of doubt...
But the main 2 are:

Hi Digimaster,
Good work on this, thanks very much, really appreciate your effort.
I've tested this a few times on xS-n51+ QNAPs and it works very well,
easy and straightforward install and somewhat faster than my RPI.
The ability to upgrade LMS version will be great, so looking forward to

Hi,
Try this, not sure why it does this but it catches me out first time
round every time I do a new build...
On the Basic page of LMS settings, at the end of your Media folder line
with mnt/share/Music untick the Pictures and Video boxes, then try a
re-scan.

Ah OK
Thanks Paul

Just playing around with this myself, had a brand new pCP image just
booted with LMS 7.9.0 installed so thought I'd test the update to 7.9.1
and it worked fine.
What procedure are you using to update? I followed pCP's help
instructions here:

Correct again Michael, it's not an issue with 7.9.0 Release scanner.
Before trying the upgrade I decided to try copying my ACDC folder from
the QNAP directly onto the microSD in

For Michael's info really...
Just configured a new set up with 7.9.0 release and noticed after a full
scan I had 10 tracks missing compared to my normal nightly setup (7.9.0
- 1485445004) Both setups (RPI 2B's) are scanning the same file
structure/files on a QNAP NAS:

Yeah, I see those log errors on that Docker image, they are nothing to
do with your problem.
So, without knowing what Michael has seen (and is looking at?), next
thing I would try is a different Squeeze Network login, can you create a
test one to try?
I'd also checkout your login by logging in d
