That's because you are using attributes of the
data-source tag to define the values for those
parameters. That method has been deprecated for some
time now. You need to use the new set-property
method for this.
Take a look at the DTD for more info:

That's exactly what happened to me as well. I think I got the xml out of
the struts-blank app. Maybe somebody change it..

I was hoping for a drop-in replacement for InterClient, but no such luck.

Unit test the beans outside of Struts.
Just write a System main console app that calls your bean.

OK, then unit test the bean on Linux. Something like a missing oracle
jar in libs, classpath. Struts or App. Server will not make a non-tested
(non-working) bean work. Fastest way to develop is to unit test the
modules. Call
