Hello,
I have posted some time ago that my compaq nx7010
(with suse 10.1) resumes spuriously if lid switch is
enabled in /proc/acpi/wakeup. Pavel has commented that
CMOS can do that and only solution was to disable the
lid switch in /proc/acpi/wakeup. I tried that and it
worked also. However, If I
Hello,
I have confirmed that automatic wakeup occurs when LID
is enabled and doesn't happen when LID is disabled.
How do I make these changes parmanent everytime I
boot?

Hello,
I was wondering where to tweak the settings so that my
computer can wakeup from standby (perhaps it is called
s2) when I move the mouse. cat /proc/acpi/wakeup gives
me following.
Device Sleep state Status
LID 3* enabled
PBTN 4* enabled
PCI0 3

So what can we do to preven CMOS clock if it does
that?
cat /proc/acpi/wakeup gives me following output. If
formatting of following table is gone, I write it in

Hello guys,
I have this strange problem with compaq nx7010 running
suse 10.0 running 2.6.13-15.11-default kernel. I can
suspend to ram with kernel parameter
acpi_sleep=s3_bios and resume also fine without a
problem. However, if I leave my computer suspended and

HI,
thanks for the reply

Why not? In normal circumstances, when I type just
dcop and enter, it lists all the application which are
running and to which I can communicate using dcop.
