Firstly, you need to convert that pbf file to an osm one. You use the
osmosis program to do that.
FWIW recent splitter and mkgmap versions should work OK with pbf files,
I think.

Qualcosa di cui dobbiamo andare fieri. Vengono usati solo alcuni dati,
gli estratti delle linee di costa, ma è comunque una dimostrazione che
