So sorry about the wheelchair fiasco! But glad you had a good time. I've
been a little afraid to try crocs because my balance is such a problem -- any
shoes besides my very flat flexible ones throw me off. But I might see if I
can
try some out, I've heard such great things about them.

Hello all,
I'm back from a great time with the grandchildren in Orlando. It was touch
and go for the first day or two. We were all tired from the cross country
flight, arriving past midnight and the airlines lost my wheelchair, yet again.
We had a very tight connection, only 40 minutes
or stand.
As long as people do not have the sensitivity problem in their feet, I would
imagine they would be good

Hi Patti,
The nubby ones wouldn't probably work for me either, as my feet are very
sensitive. I will try to scout some out in the next few days. Thanks for the
input.
I just love this TMIC. Where else can we exchange this critical info?
Hugs, Barbara

I tried to buy some Crocs a week ago at a boat show - they are popular amongst
boaters. However, they have nubby bumps in the bottom that felt like needles
to the bottoms of my feet. My daughter told me that many hospital workers wear
them due to their comfort and that some prefer the cheaper

Hello group,
Has anyone tried the Crocs? If anyone isn't familiar with
I have a pair. They seem to be okay except if I have them on too long (after the swelling starts) they don't seem to stretch very well and begin to hurt.

Hello group,
Has anyone tried the Crocs? If anyone isn't familiar with these, they are
vinyl (I think) clog type shoes. They are supposed to be very comfortable,
lightweight, etc. I am just wondering how well they will be with us with the
HOT FEET.
Looking forward to hearing from someb

It's easy to adjust to the fatigue caused by the summer heat - naps are nice!
However, I haven't found any adjustment for the extra pain caused by the winter
