You are making it more complicated than it actually is by requesting a step-by-step tutorial! Obtain a wifi router from your ISP. This should come with a self-installation disk. The first installation will require an ethernet cable connection between the router and your PC - the internet connect

Hi, my 2 cents: I've run a SqueezeboxServer on a Sheevaplug for more than 1 year and never had any problems. The device uses <5 Watts of power and can easily run 24/7. See here the following website for details (not mine): http://squeezeplug.de/ but, I agree, you need a bit of Linux know-how.

You say you can't reliably play the files either with the TinySBS or with the network SBS. I still suspect that the format of your files is interfering with playback - I suggest that you recode your files into a less demanding format (eg. mp3). If the problems still occur, then we can move on
