I can confirm the manual "'Upgrade Logitech Media Server (LMS)' (https://docs.picoreplayer.org/how-to/upgrade_lms/)" process seems to work fine. I did add "Copy and paste commands" section to the documentation to allow easier "copy all commands" in one go without the pesky dollar signs.

Is HDMI audio output still 'very unsupported'? I'm currently running pCP 6.1 and am about to update to 8.2.0. I'm using a Pi B+ v1.2. The analog 3.5mm jack is just too noisy for even casual listening. I would appreciate any suggestions to improve audio quality.

LMS will not create that directory. If you can organise things so that the mount point etc on the new disk is the same as the old drive (move the old drive to a different mount point first) then you will not even need to rescan and all of the things that refer to a file by location will still
