The backup command is "sudo filetool.sh -b" not "sudo filetool.sh-b".
It's may be easier to use $pcp bu. Type $pcp for a list of common
commands.
When using winSCP you are usually logged in as "tc", so you will get
file permissions issues on certain files. You can step up access to

I've made a bit more progress. The module does work in pCP. Using
ifconfig I can get the module on the LAN, but only in a limited fashion.
If I add "ifconfig eth0 up" to /opt/bootlocal.sh the link is reported

I've got a curious issue when using this through HDMI on my av amp
(Marantz SR7009). It will work perfectly fine but when I switch to
another device the ARC functionality appears broken, I don't know much
about HDMI but it seems like pcp is 'taking control' of the amp and
stopping the ARC function

You can install Perl modules from Cpan, but all of the compile utilities
add a lot to the system. Ill see if I can build it for you and pack

I wanted to clone a pCP SD card - both were 16GB and the original had
the FS expanded to full size.
The cloning did not complete because the target 16GB SD card was
slightly smaller than the source.
It probably would have worked fine ... but how about this as an idea

input the low power signals from a turntable (RIAA Phono).
I use the WaveInput plugin so that the turntable can be used as a source

I have a 2tb USb drive attached to my rpi3 and use this for my music
library. I've set the drive to spin down if it's not in use. Playing
music from the drive is fine - it spins up no problem. The one quirk is
that if the drive is spn down when I reboot the rip for some

message that you get when mounting (should be in the boot log)

Thanks for the dmesg tip - should have looked there myself, but Linux
isn't my domain ... There were loads of "found new device" messages -
repeating every few seconds. So, addition of dwc_otg.speed=1 tweak and
all seems to have settled down now and mount on reboot's working now.

issues when using a step-down-converter (24 -> 5 Volts) as well as an
1,5 A USB adaptor. When I changed to a 2,5 A model, all sound issues

If one were to do the in-situ update of pCP, and LMS cache is saved on
the boot disk, would LMS info be wiped clean, effectively starting LMS
over from scratch?

The update process should not affect LMS.
