I understand that Base can be used with Mysql. I actually need just
that- but the mysql database is not local. It is on a server that I
have ssh access to. How can I connect that database with Base? Thanks

I'm using OpenOffice V2.0 for Windows 2000 Pro. It works fine on ordinary
Excel files and is a great program overall.
However, if I try to open an .xlw file, the message I receive is that a file
called blank.exe is required. How can I obtain this file and install it please?
