Okay, here's my thoughts.
I have sent plenty of feedback to Apple. I was on the beta program with iOS
10, probably 9 too. I sent them pretty good ideas, like being able to edit
text in braille screen input mode, being able to spell check, that is, move
from one error to the next and correct them us
I also have an iphone 4 with IOS 5 on it. I can still see an update available
in my generall settings which I am not using. No force. Force means that you
can't use your phone unless you update it.

Okay, so here is my volume problem which seems to be different from
what others are describing.
I have my ringer volume set to 25%. I also have turned my VO volume
down to 25%. When I set an alarm and the alarm goes off, VO becomes
super loud until I deactivate the alarm at which point VO returns
