I did most of those things though I don't know what "force quit all apps" means.
I did clear the app switcher and reboot the phone with no change in the
connecting status. I also signed out of the iTunes store and back in also with

When I plugged my IPad into my pc and Itunes came up it said I have and
update. It gives me to choices.
1. Download and update
2. Download only.
What is the different and which one should I use.
I have IOS 7.0.2 on my IPad now.
