I just happen to get an older iPod Touch 4th generation to play
around with. I use VoiceOver. It currently has iOS 5.1.1. It is
prompting me to update to iOS 7. Do I recall that a 4th gen won't
even allow that? And, if I update to iOS 6 is VoiceOver too sluggish
in your opinion?
Thanks
Hi,
You are able to go to 7 but in my opinion it won't be an overly
enjoyable experience. Unfortunately you can't go to 6, so I'd give
some serious thought to sticking to iOS 5.
Cheers,
Ben.

Navigon is the best option for iPod Touch users in my opinion, but with the 5s

Thank you, Joseph, this is good info for a newbie. I'm thinking of
purchasing an iPod Touch, but am waiting as advised to see whether Apple

What's the best case to get for my iPod touch 5th generation? I like the folio
style ones, but any decent case will do, I like the folio ones because the
screen isn't exposed in travel. Any suggestions would be appreciated though.

To introduce myself to the IOS world, I Purchased an iPod Touch 5th gen and
an Otterbox Defender
