Hi Severin (and Ronni) You are correct, the G5 was a PPC processor. There was an iMac G5 and a PPC PowerMac G5. Intel didn't make a G5, so the MacPro wasn't a G5. (Sorry to correct Ronni) :o) And yes 10.6.x requires Intel only. 10.5 was the last OS that would work on a PPC machine (but killed off
