Hi all.
Could anyone please let me know if they have a Motorola A1000 phone and have
been able to synchronize it with their Mac using isync.
My phone provider is offering me an upgrade but I first need to know that it
will work with my Mac.
Thanks
Frank
Since my husband got his new ibook he's had a lot of trouble with
syncing his palm to the computer; scrambling addresses, duplicating etc.
He corrected the addresses on the palm; deleted them on his ibook.
When he tried to sync a message comes up saying more than 5% will
change which is

I cannot get my G3 running 10.2.8 to work with iSync. I enter my
correct member name and password into the appropriate place and it
comes back and tells me 'Your member name or password is missing . you
can enter this on the ,Mac Tab.' I have re-entered the info- which I
know to be correct
I'm sure someone has already posted about isync 1.5 being out, but the
interesting bit is that it supports the Sony Ericsson z1010 - a 3g
phone on the Three network.
Finally, Three users have a phone they can sync with their mac!

Failure
Anyone out there using one of the new video phones on 3's network that has
been able to run iSync.
The deals are pretty good but have to have iSync to back up names and dates
like I'm doing with the P800 (which works OK - at least for me. Would be
nice if Isync supported more than one calendar
Hi
I am trying to sync ical and address book between two computers and a
phone.
How do you get the two macs to use the same calendar and address book
files or update them automatically.
Searches tell me that you need a .mac acct or webdav server.
Has anyone figured out how to do it another
iSync 1.4 (6.6Mb) is now available under 'Software Update' under the
'Apple Menu'.
iSync 1.4 includes support for more Symbian OS smart phones and the
iPod mini, as well as stability improvements.
Before you install iSync 1.4, you must install iCal 1.5.1 or later. To
download the latest
Hi All
Im seeking to become better organised both in work and on my computer
and Im wondering if using iCal, iSync, Address Book and mail together
in OSX can really make a difference for improving overall day to day
organisation? Im optimistic that it can. Has anyone a useful strategy
Hi All
*iCal 1.5.1 and iSync 1.2.1 updates are out. iCal shows up in Software

You can grab them via Software Update or the following links:
*iCal 1.5.1 - http://www.apple.com/ical/download/
*iSync 1.2.1 -http://www.apple.com/isync/download/
No doubt

One of the reasons I switched from PC to mac was to avoid the contant race
with software changes but 10;;10.1.2
Hit Apple's home page. ICal is at 1.01 and appears to have some major
upgrades. Isync is out of beta at 1.0.
added
features and faster syncing when the full version is released.

Hi all. FYI I have had some trouble with I sync which was resolved by
simply deleting my .Mac details in 'Preferencesinternet.Mac and
putting them in again. No,I did not type them incorrectly the first
time neither did lots of other people according to the Sync discussion
list. I sync now
Hi all, has anyone got Isync working between two networked Macs? I am
aware you have to have .Mac membership and that you have to have your
.Mac Member name and password in 'System PreferencesInternet'. I
thought my problem was that I had not registered for Isync and Ical as
it suggests you do
You may well have already been here but this is the most I could find on
Apple site about it. There is a link here to a discussion forum where you
are likely to encounter people trying to do the same thing.

It's on my list of things to try soon:)
Actually
There is also an article about the bluetooth side of it here a discussion
forum.

I have taken the plunge and joined .Mac,mainly for the Isync part of it
:-) When I attempt to register it from the programme itself I get
dumped into a product registration :-(
https://register.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/IReg which is obviously
to my simple mind wrong. What am I doing

Morning all!
For those who care, the beta for iSync is out. You must have 10.2.1 on
your Mac for this program to work!
