No, Drive Genius 3 is not better than TTP6.
I have all three TTP 6, Drive Genius 3, DiskWarrior. All three are excellent
tools to have.
But, If you had to choose two it would be DiskWarrior and TTP6
Drive Genius is good, but really doesn't do much that can't be covered with
Disk

So now have a bootable backup copy of my HD, plus a bootable copy of
TechTool Pro 5, both on the external USB drive, plus TechTool Pro 5
installed and running on the laptop.

There is a link supplied with the serial number ,
but a different link supplied at the foot for creating a bootable DVD

TTP5 has just arrived and it has rendered my Macbook inoperable.
Only the first two tests of the suit worked Ram and Video then it took
hours tom do nothing now the DVD is locked in the Drive.

I have techtool pro three and it has always worked on my machines- it
will not boot on G5 but it has worked on my iBook but now when
optimising it hangs . The wheel turns but the guinea pig has left the
cage. Any iddeas

just received an email about it today. (As I've been following it up for
quite a while now).
TechTool Pro 4 is still not available and according to the US it won't be
available until 10.3 is released. (So according
Techtool Pro seems to be a worthwhile disk fixer/optimiser and virus
software. I went to buy from their local web site www.techtools.com.au
where you can buy for AUD$269.
But from www.micromat.com you can order it for about USD$110 including
