(printer head overheating). The one thing that has bugged me a lot is
that the scanning function (to pdf) has always been painful. It

I sold a client a colour inkjet A3 printer/scanner (the MFC-6890CDW) and
they love it. And it works really really well. Wasn't terribly expensive for
an A3 unit, with an RRP of $579 (I did it cheaper then that though).
But yeh, the use it all the time and are very happy with it.

If it was never installed as a Ethernet Printer, you might need to install it
as a 'new' printer.
For troubleshooting, that's OK. You can always delete it later if it doesn't
help.

I have had my Epson Stylus Photo R310 Printer for several years
(probably a few several years!)
Do you have Printer Setup Utility? If so, open this, select your
printer, then click on the utility button to get access to head
cleaning, etc.

Is anyone using a Colour Laser Printer that you may recommend, with or
without scanning capabilities,that works with Snow Leopard and has good page
output for the cost of the toners / drum.
My current HP 2840 costs me about $650.00 for a set of toners and a drum
every 4500 pages or so
to replace the toner yet so not sure of the cost of them.
This printer is a LED laser and is reputed to produce less vapours than std
lasers.
