UBNT takes risks and allows anyone to test the BETAs. Almost all the
problems you hear about come from the BETA software and understandably so.
If you thrive in chaos, you will do well with the BETA releases. If not,
just stick with the release versions and you'll do equally as well.

Depends on the equipment but the rule of thumb I always was told was to
power it up only long enough to disable the radio unless you are using
loads. If you don't load the radio and run it long enough, it will indeed

My weekend has been profitable from local hotels not believing me that Time
Warner is having an issue and they all insisting that I make a service call
to tell them just that but in person. Total take from a walk in, test and
walk out. Nearly $700 bucks. Weekend rate, $95 bucks per hour.
$300 bucks per day seems damn reasonable considering what it is.

sometimes it sucks but I have to change to a better server normally and I
tell the customer the same thing. Right now we are defaulted to some B.S.

Ironton is main node for the TW eastern KY fiber ring that we are on. I
usually get full speed and less than 20ms ping times. I tried the others,
they suck from here.
