I need to know if there is a code anywhere that states you can or can not use a standard pendant head as a window wash. I have a glass wall that I need to be fire rated and I have a contractor telling me by code he can use a pendant head instead of a deluge head or a Tyco window sprinkler. The only code I see that possibly address this is 21.20.1.2.1 and it only says you have to use automatic heads. Any help!!!!!
