Spoke with a tech from logitech and he said it is a network issue which they don't provide support for. He did say that my 2-Wire router/modem is notorious for having issues with Squeezebox and to try disabling the firewall settings to see if that will work. The firewall settings are not obvious at least to me so I called my ISP who provided the 2 Wire and they informed me that there is no way that the firewall could interfer with my "internet radio" and contact the maker of the radio (squeezebox). I am pretty fed up at this point but I am going to have a look at the 2-Wire set up pages and see if disabling anything in settings might help.
