I am going to think about your latest post and I might reply further if
I think of anything else. Like you, I wonder why your SB doesn't show
the DNS IPs the way I would expect them to. I don't know if that's a
problem. Unlike you, I only have one Squeezebox (Classic), so I can't
really duplicate your situation. I wish I had the spare cash and I'd
buy a SB Radio (in red). Maybe I'm lucky I haven't got one yet.

The screenshot of your local network setup is without fault. I commend
you on a proper network setup. I like the way your router lists your
devices on the right side--that's a nice feature.

I take it “MainSqueezer” is your main PC, “Squeezer” is your SB
Classic, “BoomBoom” is your SB Boom, and DonKim is your friend's
laptop. All good. The only caveat I'd make is that 72 hours is a
longish lease time. But I can't see how that would create any problems.
To answer your question about the *OpenDNS IPs,* they would not appear
on this page but somewhere else in your router setup.

Notice the checkbox where it says Enable DHCP. If you uncheck that (and
save) it has the effect of turning OFF your router's DHCP server. You
don't want to do that but it's nice to know how. (When you use several
pieces of gear, you usually disable the DHCP servers in your extra
gear, so only ONE is operating.)

On the subject of DHCP, here is what a DHCP should hand out to a client
that requests an IP: 1) an IP address 2) a subnet mask 3) lease
expiration duration 4) gateway IP (to the world) 5) Two or more DNS
server IPs.

A couple of things piqued my curiosity: I wonder what the Public Routed
Subinterface section is for? I googled and found a link to
support.2wire.com I haven't had a chance to read much about that yet.
There may be some esoteric router setting that is messing you up. I
don't recommend turning stuff off blindly, but maybe you can figure out
if some service or feature in your router that you don't need. And
seeing if disabling it helps.

The button that says EDIT ADDRESS ALLOCATION is probably where one
assigns reservations (AKA static DHCP). (I don't like using “static”
and DHCP in the same sentence, `cause static and -dynamic- don't mesh,
to my way of thinking.)

I'll mull it over and post again if I think of something else. Best
regards.
