I have a doubt ...
If everyone would follow the guidelines and get rid of Sniffing code. In
fact sniff code should simply be banned. Then the web browsers would
have no choice but write to w3c specs.
But MS became one of the three original signatories to w3C with the
express intent to find out the specs and then break them to gain
advantage which worked for years. Then the decided the Internet per se
was not their enemy but Google is.
