Paul: you may find it hard to believe, but there are those of us who put track & field (or athletics, as you may prefer) on a higher plane, transcending petty geopolitical differences and judging all athletes from all nations (and across event groupings) by the same free-of-emotion yardstick. Perhaps it's easier for me to do so, living in an expatriate world, but for you to immeidately play the American-bias flag is ludicrous. gh (citizen of Canada)
