You need to use the IR blasters with the DTA. The trick will be finding the right IR code to use with them. If your S2s are month-to-month you might look at replacing them with S3/HD units - used or refurb boxes can be had at pretty good prices. And remember that the S3/HD units are dual-tuner, so you could replace two single-tuner S2s with one new box.
