Hi, Ann, I don't know about the pain but I do know that when you become constipated and your stool stays in your bowel, your body will absorb the fluids which makes the stool even harder and more uncomfortable and more difficult to extract. Having the TM aggravates the issue with all of our nerve problems especially for those of us who have no feeling in that area. Each one of us has to find our own answer to the constipation problem or we will continue suffering. It's not healthy to have that stuff stay in our system, either. Not fun, is it?
