Pulling ethernet cable between rooms is less painful than one might think. At least compared to tracing intermittent wifi disturbances and flaky wifi performance that can be a problem in an urban area with dozens of other networks nearby. Or if you live in an old/large house . Wifi takes some fiddling now and then shift channels to keep away from neighbours optimizing antenna placements etc .
ethernet just works, pair it with static addressing of players and servers and half the router and network could silently go south without hiccups in the music. -- Mnyb -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 and assorted amps SiriuS, Classe' Primare and Dynadio speakers, Contour 4 Contour Center, and Contour 1.3SE for the rear ch.
