Thanks.  I currently do the same with my laptop (Windows, running LMS)
and would like to do the same with the iPad mini when it arrives. :)

Thanks for the suggestion.  I may give that a try.  As of right now, I
don't have the space to store all my music in a lossless format, so
converting my wma files would be preferable (that is if necessary; see
below).  That said, eventually I plan to get a new computer (or a "music
server"?) with much more storage space at which time I'll probably go
through my CD collection again and rip them in a lossless format as you
have.

>From earlier responses it seems LMS will allow me to stream wma files to
the iPad Mini (using the iPend player).  Once I actually get the Mini
and start playing around with iPeng I'll have a better idea what I need.
