Normally players choose a scenario, set its parameters in the game lobby or in the game beginning, and play. Similarly they could choose a savefile, a preload event would allow them to set game paramenters, and they would play. For example Conquest Minus generates random unit spawns. If a spawn is interesting, more players might want to play it, but with different settings than the original players. A preload event could offer players to chanhge settings.
