Well, the GNU guys (or any other guys) are
perfectly at will to take the actual work (which
is indeed improvement over historical 0.92) and
fork it, etc., providing the license is kept.
Don't understand this promptness to move to GNU,
too. Where's the fire?
However, I see no problem at all with fork, if
Carlos and other contributors would continue to
improve this here project.
And I perfectly understand Carlos (and other
contributors) reluctance to change even one iota
in their current work setup for somewhat dubious
gain of being 'GNU approved'. BTW, what's this
about the term 'open source' disallowed or smth.?
