Collaboration, not assimilation.

How is that a 'collaboration' when having mandatory terms?
I don't even agree with all this GNU fanatism.

I thought that being the 'official window manager of the GNU operating
system' would require changing a few lines of advertisement on the
webpage and the 'Info Panel' to acknowledge that.

You don't just want to use it, you want us to comply with some
_mandatory_ terms that not all of us agree with.

The fanatical explanation above is exactly why I don't want to have
anything to do with GNU.

There's no 'battle' against anyone nor anything! We are just using
a open source software that enables us to tweak things if the need
arises.

I see. That only reinforces my point about assimilation.

Are you suggesting that we are not knowledgeable enough to know about
the history of the software we work with? That we cannot read the
copyright notices in the files? Or that we are pretending to have
written Window Maker from scratch in the last 6 years?

You always have the choice to not be a fanatic, embrace diversity
and to not impose your views on others.
