I can get some pretty strange things to happen by rapidly clicking combinations of "Enable Tx", "Halt Tx" and "Tune" but nothing that I can reproduce with slow deliberate steps that can be simply traced through the code. From the revision number you quote I assume you are using v1.6.-0-devel, is this issue only happening in one of the newer modes like WSPR, JT4 or Echo? > > Probably useful to have a minor fix to turn off the bottom left hand TX: > "message" indicator at the same time as the tones are turned off. Not such a simple fix as the PTT and tones are sequenced with timers and separate threads of control and do not happen at the same time or place in the code. I believe the change in background of the left hand status indication in meant to reflect PTT rather than Tx audio which was why I wrongly assumed that this issue would be linked to PTT action.
If you can document a sequence of actions that causes this issue it would be very helpful. > > Rex VK7MO 73 Bill G4WJS. > > > On 11/06/2015 7:27 AM, Bill Somerville wrote: >> Hi Adriaan, >> >> The behaviour of the "Enable Tx" button has changed slightly in v1.5.
