Thank you for the very detailed instructions.
I'm a Fedora packager for several years so I understand most of the ins and
outs of pulseaudio. Unless the also device was chosen for both input and
output I would not see anything pop up in Playback when transmitting, even
for "Tune". There must be some bug between Qt and Pulseaudio. My guess is
that it was locking up before even opening audio output.
