Hi Richard, I suggest to start wsjtx under gdb. When it hangs, stop it using gdb and print the current state, backtrace, etc. At least, this will help to see which modules are where. There exists specific Qt debugging tools, but I have absolutely no skill using them. Bill will probably help you here.
