That way, the DE > > As I wrote before: this makes NX absolutely obsolete. You can then > just use kdrive and be fine. And this is where you are mistaken. For some reason, KDrive sessions are detected as local sessions. So users are allowed to click "shut down the server" - and it will actually happen. On the other hand, they are getting popups about Network connections that ask for sudo permissions to continue and whatnot. A plain, classic-NX X2Go session on the same server works just fine. $SOMETHING inside the DE is trying to tell local and remote sessions apart (which is a good thing), and KDrive is confusing this detection mechanism due to how it works, so you get all those weird effects (which is a bad thing). -Stefan -- BAUR-ITCS UG (haftungsbeschränkt) Geschäftsführer: Stefan Baur Eichenäckerweg 10, 89081 Ulm | Registergericht Ulm, HRB 724364 Fon/Fax 0731 40 34 66-36/-35 | USt-IdNr.: DE268653243 _______________________________________________ x2go-user mailing list x2go-user@lists.x2go.org https://lists.x2go.org/listinfo/x2go-user
