Just a few days ago I ran OpenBox on :1 inside Xephyr, and made the mistake of clicking "exit" there. Zap, my actual session on :0 went down as well. -Stefan
You need to wrap openboard into a "dbus-run-session", e.g. one shell: Xephyr -ac :1 other shell: STARTUP=openbox-session dbus-run-session /etc/X11/XsessionThis is another cup of tea and related to systemd's Dbus integration concept (1 user <-> 1 session, even if on multiple seats)
