Cde Vincent, I do not know how many times have you agreed with views expressed in public by cde Buti Manamela. I guess, a few times. Do you know why? Because the views were neither here nor there as they're expressed either in the spur of the moment or purported to be the position of the organisation. It's has been a precedent for the leadership to say unpalatable things in public without reproach. The unfortunate statements like "baboons", "drunkards" who are "day-dreaming" were made before AND not a single time did the NOB distances itself from such drivel - let alone releasing a statement to set a record straight. Why now? It's an unprincipled inconsistency which will be rejected with contempt it deserves. Accordingly, I reject this distancing tendency and call upon the NOB to take collective responsibility for the views expressed in the article to honour the precedence already being set since they took office.
