I think that it is not corredt for structures to release such childish media
statement, more especially denouncing one of their own. Maybe the problem has
got to do with idling warm-bodies who are made to be spokepersons and thgink
that theirs is to release statements everyday, even when it is not necessary
for teh organisation to speak on an issue.

The statement is, but an embarassment to the YCL, more especially when it
distances itself from such truthful issue that is eating the moral fibre of
our land. Are heading towards a commuhist movement that is being consumed by
the ruling partyu and has become a ghost of its former self? Or is it a
question of the organisation lacking its political and ideological direction
due to the absence of the political head, a full-time parliamentarian.

I think people, mor espacially those who sit idly and fabricate lazy and
uncoordinated words on behalf of organisation must be careful not to be USED
by others in the same leadership. They must also understand that independent
thinking is allowed in any democratic state, except China and other
dictatorial states with communist faces. If we are to learn from such we will
find ourselves exactly like them.

Cde. Masondo has raised important views ansd we all know it is true on the
basis of what is happening in the country, recent deals with Acer-Mittal,
Indian connections, the now alleged Cele saga, and many others. Our problem
in recent South African politics is that we have (blindly) loved our leaders
to an extent that we think they are infallible.

It will be intersting to see what the NOB will say when they meet., Are we
going to see teh Mazibuko Jara scenario. Only Buti and thiose loyal to him
know. But the YCL and the broader youth movement will rememer Cde. Masondo as
a true revolutionary who never comprosed his thinking over a seat and left the
movement to suffer that only exists in lame and boring statements.
