It is unfortunate that we have to see these defensive statements been
released by our YCL NOB's as noted.

However I would like to express my agree with comrade Masondo and others,
that we need to call things by their names.

FIrstly to be noted in the article writen by Masondo it said nowhere of his
writing to be the views of the YCL nor has he appointed himself the
spokesperson of the YCL, from my reading I only understand a concerned
leader of the Youth expressing critical yet important facts facing us.

He has in no point insulted nor criticized President Zuma as a person, but
opportunistic tendencies that may be envisaged by either those close to him
or his family in usage of his current status as the President of the ANC and
the Republic.

It is to my surprise that we have not taken time to critically put these
issues to be realistic or not. I would further understand little from the
YCL statement to distance themselves only from the point that they believe
Masondo's writing are insightful to attacks to the MDM structures, while I
am neither convinced that there has been proper consultation with the YCL
leadership by whoever released the statement.

Lastly I would encourage comrades to be more open rather than defensive to
the course of the Working class
