Well, I don't have any skin in the game, since both my computers have
64-bit Windows. It just seems a pity to shut out the minority who have
32-bit Windows.
But that's a development decision, so I won't keep harping on it.

that the original poster's argument in favor is that
32-bit programs have been around for a long time. While that's true, it
doesn't seem to me like any reason to abandon them.

(It is of course possible to have a transaction that has but one split,
with amount equal to zero. I do it as a way of making a memo that isn't
tied to any financial transaction, for instance the number of miles I
drove for charity in a given month. GnuCash has no problem with th
29 transactions of two splits each.
There are no formulas, however.

problem with just continuing to use the original of the file that copied
into the archive? That's what I've been doing since 2018, and it seems
to work just fine.

Hello Jim,
First of all you are running a very old release of James and should
consider upgrading since I don't know if it's "supported" .
I believe James 2.x uses log4j 1.x
So you could configure logging by placing a log4j.properties files as
first as possible on the classpath.

Thanks again Brian!
Alan definitely went far afield for his entry! All good again this month.

not so great on 160. However, I’ve never come anywhere near as close, before
or since, to thinking I had the best transmit antenna of anyone on any band.
Unfortunately due to a job situation I had to move about a year after putting
it up. But it was fun for a year or so.

Any advice that anyone has on this matter will be highly appreciated.
