That is exactly what we use for our VoIP phones, which works fine, no dynamic

How do you block bittorrent and P2P traffic? Is it something that can be done
via policy or ACL's? I know I could do it with a packet shaper, but we do not
have one yet. I am just curious is someone else has thought of some ingenious
way of keeping this traffic contained.
Patrick Printz
It is on my G3's, but not the S's. What is strange though is that on one of the
g3's, when I ran the command, it did not display all of the info. I have vlan
99 statically assigned to several ports, but when I run the vlan portinfo, the
ports are not listed. I am curious why.
Patrick Printz
I have both. I guess my concern was that bittorrent and P2P are adapting and
can use such a wide range of ports, even port 80. Just didn’t know if there was
anything beyond blocking the default ports that people have tested.
I will definitely look in oneview though. Thanks.

If you do use policy though, I think the c can allow access to a particular

If a man

vlan and you want the authenticating device to pull a different IP, you need to
consider how to make that happen if the system already pulled an IP initially.
That is an issue I ran into early on in working with setting up vlan's based on

Patrick Printz
My opinion is, if you let RADIUS handle assigning the role and leverage Policy
to contain the role to a particular vlan, that may be the easiest method.
