To do this within IMail you would have to use a program alias and have that
program write the ip address to whatever you would be using to do the blocking.

Then it seems that they have a real problem read the error it states that it
is a regex on the helo string. Try pointing this out the them.
Based on the error message I would guess it is definitly there issue not
yours.

I do not know about jerks but have you looked here
http://www.google.com/analytics/urchin_software.html
http://www.google.com/analytics/support_locator.html
It looks like google owns urchin now and it is supported through a partner
network.

This does not address the SMTP vulnerability. If you do not use IMAP then
you are not vulnerable to that exploit. These look new to me. The IMAP issue
was supposedly take care of in 8.21.

My users seem to be receiving more and more PDF attachments. It seems that
more an more of them are being corrupted. Is any one else out there having
this issue.
The corruption only seems to happen when IMail sends the message outbound to
our gatewayed domains.

Network
it.
Only happens when a PDF is attached. Also if the message make it through and
the PDF is opened they get a corruption error.

Some outbound and sometimes they never leave the server. I have seen
corruption between the imail and the gateway which are on the same lan
segment.

It is only PDF files we are seeing as corrupt and no other unexplainable non
repeatable issues. I say non repeatable not because it doesn not repeatable
happen but because I can not mek it happen it happens when ever it wants to.

This is a good Idea of something I have not tried. I will shut off PDF
scanning tomorrow and do some testing. We are running F-prot.
