Before I answer, I should explain something. It's not entirely a matter of
inter/intra-domain. It's also a matter of tcprules.
Squirrelmail (in the stock configuration) is sent via localhost
(127.0.0.1). The tcp.smtp rules have RELAYHOST set for localhost, so SA is
not invoked by simscan. If

Hi eric
Thanks for the suggestions, I will try them when I get chance tonight.
However would this still be the case when I am working on the server directly?
Wouldn't the IP address be 127.0.0.1?

This will be fixed soon. It requires a quick modification to the RDJ

Thanks.
Thanks Jake. I'm in no hurry for this.
Hello!
Is there any way to force qmail to a specific interface when transmitting mails
to another server? My server has several IP addresses and qmail is always using
the address of eth0 instead of the interface/address which I like to be used.
Thank you for your help,

Hi!
In redhat/centos add the following line in your /etc/network file:
GATEWAYDEV=eth2
where eth2 is the interface that has de ip address that you want as
output ip adress. It could be a virtual interface as eth0:1.
Please, tell me if it works for you.

qmail-dk is broken and is going to be disabled by default in the next
release of the qmail-toaster package.
Anatoly has done some great work on this, but it is just not production worthy.
To manually disable, just type the following:
# cd /var/qmail/bin ; rm -f qmail-queue ; ln -s
I should note that removing the DK stuff from tcp.smtp is not enough
to properly disable qmail-dk. It should be, but unfortunately it
isn't. We have a few more tests done on our testing side that would
have ex'd out qmail-dk from the start as unworthy. We will not be
making the mistake of adding

What exactly are you trying to do? I've got 50+ clients who use

It would be pointless to send your emails out on port 587. The rest of
the email servers in the world will only accept incoming emails on port
25, so no outgoing email on
