thats interesting. for me, when i describe a record as "emotional" it means it successfully conveys emotion, which puts it far and above most other records. for example, aril briha's album is some of the most emotional music ive ever heard. and omar-s' "just ask the lonely" is right up there as well. those are special records, hardly what i would call bland and predictable. > it's a term used in > particular with electronic music- I've never heard of "emotional Rock > and Roll or "emotional" Folk music! they have a catalogue of terrible music, but its not the same as dance music's terrible music. bad dance music is devoid of pretty much anything useful, whereas rock or folk music is just bad. its easy to put emotion in a voice, its the most expressive instrument in the world. tom
